Introducing NYC’s Street Musicians

July 5th, 2010

I love music–from alternative to samba. So I find it to be a great treat when musicians fill my commute/adventures with song. This page is dedicated to the performers I have seen (and been able to capture a photo of) thus far :-)

The Elusive Singing Drummer (@ 125th St. on Friday, July 2nd)

He would play his own beat on the drums & sing cover songs (like Ne-Yo's "Do You")

Tribal Pan Flutists (@ Union Square on Sat., July 3rd)

Like tribal CD stations in the airport, but 5x better because its live!

Moses Josiah, the Musical Saw Player (@ Grand Central Station on Saturday, July 3rd)

He made that musical saw sing like a violin!
