In-N-Out

Recently, “Five Guys Burgers” were named the “Best Hamburger in America” by Zagat Survey, dethroning the previous hamburger establishment that is so close to my heart, “In-N-Out Burgers.” I finally had the opportunity to try “Five Guys” and it was okay I guess, I mean if you’ve never had In-N-Out I can see how you would think that taste “good.” In-N-Out is much better, I suggest you hop on a plane to California this December and go try it! Totally worth it.

I really don’t mean to sound bitter or angry, but clearly I am, so it comes out that way.

Pizza Pizza Pizza, Can’t You See

Sitting in my room back home in Los Angeles, watching the Travel Channel. Eating Dorito’s and, on the television, I see something that makes me think, “I want that in my face.”

This is what appeared on screen:

The pizza came out of the coal ovens at “Lombardi’s Pizza” which is actually the very first pizzeria in the United States, being established in 1905. I thought, nothing can taste better than the original, right? So, I looked up Lombardi’s on Yelp.com and out of the staggering 1158 reviews, it received a whopping four stars.

I’ve been looking forward to trying this pizza for a very long time. Last Thursday I finally had that pizza, and here’s my pithy one word review: Sucked.

Just kidding, it was amazing. I cannot get over how great this pizza was. Better than I expected, really, you HAVE to try this pizza sometime in your life. Go with a group of 3 or more and you wont pay more than 6 dollars for two generous slices. I think I’m having withdrawals because I haven’t had Lombardi’s in a few days.

Me and my friends had the pepperoni and sweet Italian sausage, shown here:

Lombardi’s is located at 32 Spring Street, New York City on the corner of Mott.

Do yourself a favor and visit soon, and often!

Oliver Stone Should Have Punched Me in the Face

The first day I ever spent in New York City I spent looking at a polar bear, gawking at a leopard, and interrupting Oliver Stone talking to Shia LaBeouf to ask for a picture, needless to say, I did not get that picture.

After about half an hour of watching animals sleep, I stumbled across this:

The movie being shot was Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps.

After my embarrassing faux pas, I just stood back and watched the movie being shot with everyone else.

I felt it was very appropriate they filmed this at the zoo because, like the animals, you weren’t allowed to approach them, you weren’t allowed to touch them and you were definitely not allowed to feed them.

I caught a few good shots of a scene with Michael Douglas and Shia LaBeouf, here’s one:

I was lucky I got to watch an iconic director film with such actors; of course if the movie isn’t any good when it comes out I’m taking this post down.

Also, I saw a seal:
