Can you believe it?? We’re almost in the month of APRIL!!!! So many things in APRIL! April Fool’s Day, the official start of major league baseball season, tax day (not sure if you’re looking forward to that one), Good Friday, Earth day, EASTER…did I mention my TWENTY-FIRST BIRTHDAY!!!!!! Now, since I mentioned my birthday last, are you thinking it’s after all of the previously mentioned events? Well, if you are thinking that…you’re wrong, sorry. My birthday is before all of those holidays, and simultaneous with April fool’s day… basically, I’m telling you my birthday is the first of April! YAY! Today is March 29th….. which basically means I turn 21 in 3 days! I CANNOT believe it! I’ll be able to legally drink for the rest of my lovely life! YIPPIE!!!!! Get pumped! I know I am!

Today was supposed to be our first conference game for college softball; however, the field was in unplayable condition. And the fact that it was under forty degrees with winds over ten miles per hour didn’t help the matter. So our next game should be tomorrow, but we’ll see. It’s also supposed to be freezing again tomorrow, GREAT! The good thing of the day was seeing my Daddy, who brought my Grandmal’s homemade chocolate chip cookies to the field for us (anticipating a game). It was good to see my Dad and of course the cookies were delicious!!! Hope we get to play games tomorrow!

This was by far the best burger I have ever tasted in my life… it might have been the best because I was super hungry after two games of softball in the blistering California sun, or maybe the burger is just that good. Oh, you picked up on that, “blistering California sun”, did you? Yes, unfortunately the best burger I’ve ever tasted was in Los Angelos, California on Hollywood Boulevard!
The descrption on the menu said “umami x 6 – our signature burger – you will crave this one”. In case you cannot read the little description in the picture, I will tell you what exactly was on my amazing UMAMI burger. House ground beef, oven-roasted tomatoes, caramelized onions, Parmesan frico, sautéed shitake mushrooms, and house made ketchup makes up the six ingredients to the Umami burger. The house made ketchup was delicious with their sweet potato fries and thin cut fries. This was by far the best meal I had during my spring break!

For the first time in my life I will be on the West Coast of USA in sunny California, more exact, San Diego and LA! I’m pumped!!!!! Many pictures to come! Sorry I’m not writing a lot, I hand three exams that preoccupied my time this week, and now I’m doing laundry so that I can pack my suitcase! Busy, busy!

Please somebody help. I’m in the hunt for mochi rice cakes, like the kind you get at frozen yogurts places as toppings. I really, really want to find mochi to buy to eat as snacks, because it taste so good! So if you know of any place in Brooklyn or Manhattan that sells mochi rice cakes, other than frozen yogurt stores, please, PLEASE, PLEEEEEEEEEEASE let me know Thanks!

4. Countdown to when I turn 21- 30 days
5. Countdown to Easter- 53 days (wow, that’s really far away!)

I’ve been busting my butt at softball practice and weight training, trying to get fit and loose weight for my softball season starting very soon, March 13th to be exact, in San Diego, CALIFORNIA! So tomorrow, I have a well-needed massage to work out the numerous kinks in my back, shoulders, and neck. Hope I feel nice and loose afterwards, to get back to work at Monday morning’s 6:45am practice! NICE!

Wow, three days ago I was talking about having Spring Fever! Well turns out, the next morning I got the flu. Been trying to rest and get healthy, but the weather changing from cold to hot to cold again, is not helping! I slept in until 2pm this morning, luckily I didn’t have practice this morning, although I do have it tonight! So maybe tomorrow, with having off from school, I can rest a little bit more, and battle this flu! Less than 20 days until CALIFORNIA for spring break!

Today was amazingly beautiful! I spent an hour laying in the park today listening to music. It was lovely! Hope this weather lasts through the weekend, so I can enjoy the fresh air a little bit longer! I know the cold is coming back though, so don’t get too comfortable wearing shorts!
